Do you take insurance?

Treeline is not "in-network" with any insurance company, but we can provide a receipt of payment for services (known as a "superbill") that can then be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement if you have "out of network" coverage. If you are unsure if you have this type of coverage, please call your insurer to inquire prior to scheduling a session.

Can I be seen in-person?

Treeline services are not available in-person. All sessions are conducted over a secure, HIPAA-compliant, video-conferencing platform. We find this medium to be equally effective as in-person therapy, and offers greater convenience for clients to access services from (almost) anywhere.

Why the name, "Treeline?"

On a mountain, the "treeline" is the highest altitude where trees can grow. When a climber, after a long trek through the forest, finally makes it past that point, their hard work is rewarded with the incredible views. This is, of course, a metaphor for therapy and life. Every single one of us goes through periods in our lives where it feels like we are lost in the forest, overwhelmed by pain, chaos, and uncertainty. However, with help, guidance, and a willingness to strive, there can be hope of rising above and enjoying peace, clarity, and a sense that all of life's struggles are, ultimately, worthwhile.
